MetroDeafSchool promotes academic excellence in Deaf Education using an ASL/English bilingual approach.Our primary purpose is to empower our students to develop a sense of identity and pride as Deaf persons while providing them the skills and knowledge to succeed as global citizens.
ESY this year is June 15th to June 30th–Monday through Friday–8:30am to 12:30pm. The ESY Coordinator is Kelly Anderson. NOTE: This year ESY is shorter due to construction on the new high school. Please see our Parent Information page for more information.
H1N1 Flu (formerly “Swine Flu”)--New Guidelines as of May 14th
H1N1 Flu (formerly “Swine Flu”) has been identified in Minnesota--it has affected several schools. Thankfully, it is not in epidemic proportions but schools are making parents and staff aware of new guidelines from the MN Department of Health (MDH).
